The journey has been kind of an interesting one. At first I was kind of lost, then confused, then got back on track only to find out that I had be over ambitious in my original planing and design. I now had to tackle the herculean task of making the design work as a working and functional HTML website.
To all those (teachers and fellow students) who helped me find my way through the maze of coding, I say a big thank you. What I lost in time, I gained in knowledge and experience with this activity. It only brings me closer to unravel the mystery of CSS coding.
To achieve the concept I made earlier took me to future topics of CSS coding. Since I am new to this, I had to do more research to finding ways of coding the custom slider I designed in Photoshop for my “Put thought in my design” 5-website or blog promoting my home town. I made the mistake of biting more than I could chew. I have learnt from the mistake now. I did not keep my design simple.
But alas, I succeeded to some degree to code the custom slider which appear on four of the webpages with exception of the homepage. I think I need more learning to do to make the other elements work seamlessly.
Below are images of the CSS code and below that the link to the website.
